Although advertised as a NZDRA points round, and due to the non NZDRA National format, points for the Summer Slam round cannot be issued as per the rule book.                       

Points for entry only can be allocated to those who attended as some form of appreciation for their attendance. I apologise to any racer whom attended based on maximum points being available.  

If it was known to myself that the format was not as per the National series criteria, racers would have been notified of that fact and could have based their attendance knowing the facts.
