Updates 14th March 2011 Super Street, Mod Bike. Entry to the event must be done on Saturday. There will be no qualifying / practice on Sunday morning. Racers that have not qualified Saturday will be randomly placed on the bottom of the field Sunday unless advised out. Racers must personally advise out. (Other teams on your behalf will not be accepted). Non qualified racers will have to “predict” there dial in. National’s entry After discussions with the Fram track manager a compromise to the issue of doubling of entry information has been amended. Racers that have pre entered but not raced at Fram this season are required to sign the Fram racer detail sheet, those who have raced there this season do not. Non pre entered will also have to fill in this Fram sheet if they haven’t raced there this season. Century Batteries Power Series Awards presentation. Due to the limited number of events in the series this season (particularly with Central Nationals rain out) NZDRA cannot justify the expense of holding a separate awards evening so for this season we will be awarding the Championship Winners and Runner up positions during / after the NZ Nationals presentation. Racers that have won the event and taken the Championship will be awarded both on the podium. Those that have taken the Championship but have not gained a place at the NZ Nationals will be called after the NZ Nationals presentation. Regional Drivers meetings. The NZDRA Board will convene regional drivers meetings around the country. These will take place as soon as practicable after the NZ Nationals with venues announced when dates set. These meetings will be held in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch and Invercargill. These meetings will be held most likely week nights. The premise for these meetings is to discuss the future of the sport going forward and what the members want from the organisation. These meetings will be an open forum for racers to ask questions and forward ideas. All members are encouraged to attend. Driver’s representative meetings. Drivers are reminded to approach their driver’s representative to put their views forward on any rule submission or regulation they may deem beneficial to the betterment of their class or the sport as a whole. Submissions have been posted on the NZDRA website and input is sought from racers in these classes. Again as soon as practicable a meeting will be convened with the Drivers representatives and NZDRA to discuss these before the rules committee meeting shortly after. NZDRA |
