Pre Entry to the 6th February event at Fram Autolite closes 5pm 28th January. No pre entries will be considered after this date. Entry on the day is permitted but gate entry charges apply. Racers please be prompt into staging lanes. We will guarantee minimum turn around times but you are expected to be in the staging lanes when the times are up. If a racer is called and is late, he/ she will forfeit the round! Once called to the pre stage area, be ready to fire when directed. That means have your battery cable connected, starter in place and fuel bottle in hand! Racers slowing the show will be penalised points. Racers please remind your Crew members who direct you into stage, not to put their foot in the beams when the other car is anywhere in stage. You will be disqualified if they are seen doing this. Racers with chutes are reminded to clear the braking area as quickly as possible. Your run may be over but the following racer does not wish to over heat his engine waiting for you to clear the track. As you can appreciate the above requests are to ensure the event supplies non stop action for the paying spectator. Yes it makes your day busy but they are paying to be entertained not to watch an empty track. Let’s get them coming back for more! There will be two rounds scheduled for racers who have lost to Grudge/ Test & Tune in the later rounds of racing. These are subject to time constraints but if you wish to utilise these please be in the lane and ready. Juniors and Bikes will not be run with cars but cars may be random paired. Tree will be pro start. Reminder for Group One and Two vehicles including Bikes - Call at the Weigh Bridge if you run under the record / index. Pre entry tickets and race schedule will be available for pick up from 12.30 Saturday before entering the venue ticket gate.Race Entry open & close times will also be on the enclosed schedule where arm bands may be collected by race teams. Other matters Late tech inspections/ log book issuing Racers who leave their tech till the last minute are costing themselves money by sending the white sheet in with less than 10 days to be processed. You have to pay for a temporary log book as well as the NZDRA office issued one. If less than 10 days to an event take both copies to the track and save us doing the work twice! No licensing passes Racers applying for a licence that require observation passes are reminded there are no licensing passes permitted at any National event. Please ensure you have completed licensing at previous meetings prior to any National Event. Rule Submissions Due Now. Racers are reminded that any rule submissions intended for the 2012 season must be received by NZDRA (post or email) before the 1st of February 2011. These submissions can cover class or general regulations but you must include your reason for the proposed change to be considered and any supporting information. End |
