The team at Fram Autolite Dragway is hard at work getting everything ready for the biggest weekend of dragracing on the New Zealand calendar for the weekend of Friday 19^th, Saturday 20^th and Sunday 21^st March 2010 

The event will feature all of New Zealand’s fastest and most powerful vehicles in each of the fourteen racing divisions. 

Fram Autolite Dragway spokesperson Gary Bogaart, “This is our turn to host a round of the national series and it has the added bonus of also being the Grand Final of the Century Yuasa Power Series”.  

Racers from all over the country will be pushing their machines to the limit to try and become the New Zealand series Champion. The two premier divisions which are the Dragsters and Funny Cars in Top Alcohol and the full-bodied Top Doorslammers will provide plenty of action.  

Friday is the first round of qualifying with gates opening at 12.00pm and the track open at 4.00pm. Saturday is compulsory qualifying for all vehicles with the gates open at 8.00am and the track open between 10am and 5pm while Sunday between 10.00 and 5pm is raceday.  

There is something for all the family, great spectator viewing, food, free children’s entertainment and plenty of parking.
