With the NZDRA New Zealand Nationals approaching this weekend, the Shapes Roadies Top Alcohol funny Team of Morice McMillin is deep in preparation for the final round of the New Zealand National Series.

With a handy Points Series lead the team are looking for a consistent and reliable weekend to ensure the team finish up with enough points to secure their first ever NZ Championship.

'We have had a good season so far, and will be looking to continue this on for the final round of the championship this weekend in the Roadies Funny Car", says an excited Morice.
With the return of some of the big names in the sport over the last few meetings, this will be the toughest test for the Hamilton based team. "With John Neilan making an emphatic return at the last round of the championship in Tokoroa, and some good results in testing for Todd Vincent in the Vincent family dragster we will have our work cut out for us this weekend" commented the young driver .

Add to this Bruce Smith from Invercargill, John 'Johnny 5' Neilan, and Dave Gauld's brand new Top Alcohol entry not yet seen before on any track in the country, this will be an event not to be missed!

Competing in New Zealands fastest motorsport certainly has it dangers. With approx 3000 horsepower, a top speed over 360km/h attention to details on these Group One cars is paramount, however this does not stop Morice and the Shapes Roadies team from opening up their pit area to all who come down for the event.
