As mentioned last month in NZ V8, in a unique initiative, a group of Top Alcohol drivers are offering the chance to crew on one of the countries top drag cars for a day. The competition is simple, you don’t even need to answer a question, except for which event you would like to crew at.The teams that have offered up a spot are Morice McMilin/Ryan Sheldon with there Teng Tools Funny Car, Dave Gould with his wild Kiwi Sheds Fiat Toppolino, John Neilan with his 5-second Digga Dragster, current NZDRA champ Chris Johnson and his Harcourts’ Hauler or the Vincent family with their dragster.One crew spot will be offered at each of the five NZDRA rounds, being two at Fram Autolite Dragway, one at Masterton Motorplex, one at Taupo International Dragway and one at Powerbuilt Tools Raceway in Christchurch. Each successful candidate will receive free entry to the event, and a plaque to recognise their achievements.

• Central Nationals – Masterton – 20th Feb
