Note: Racers that have attempted to enter after the close off date are not pre entred! If your name is not on the pre entry list there will not be a pre entry envelope for you at the NZDRA mobile office at the gate. However if you have made an internet payment for pre entry it can be used as your entry fee on the day but you will have to pay the tracks gate entry into the venue. We must have prof of payment for this on NZDRA bank statment. Prestone Event info The Prestone Nationals will be a three-day event with entry and a voluntary qualifying round on Friday for all divisions and three qualifying rounds on Saturday for all divisions. This meeting is the final round of the Century Yuasa National Series. Super Street, Modified Bike and Screamin' Eagle are encouraged to qualify on Saturday but are able to do one qualifier on Sunday morning. Please note there is no qualifying for any other divisions on Sunday. GATE ENTRY, SCRUTINEERING & ENTRY All competitors who have pre-entered through NZDRA will collect their envelopes just priour to the venue gates. Those of you who have attended an NZDRA National Series event this season will already be aware of these entry procedures. Any competitors who have not pre-entered who arrive at the track on Friday/Saturday will pay $50 gate charge for the weekend and receive a wristband to be worn for the duration of the event. For out of town competitors please check in with Carol Phillips on 0272 608452 for an available pit space. There will be an opportunity for all divisions to enter and complete a qualifying pass on Friday. Gates will open at 12pm and entry booth will be open between 3pm and 5pm. The track will be open for one qualifying pass per competitor from 4pm. This qualifying pass will count towards seeding fields for the elimination rounds on Sunday. Gate charges: Friday $10, Saturday $20, Sunday $30, or $50 for the weekend. Cost to race will be as per the NZDRA Series Schedule Junior Dragsters $nil if pre-entered - $50 otherwise Group One - T/A, TDS $200 Group Two - Competition, Top Street, Comp Bike, Sport Compact $180 Group Three - Modified, S/Sedan, S/Street,Mod Bike $120 Super Charged Outlaws $180 Group Four - Super Gas $120 PRIZEMONEY - NZDRA will provide. Trophies and certificates for First and Second. RACING DIVISIONS AND FIELD SIZES - as per Fram Autolite pre-season newsletter SATURDAY 20th March 2010 - Programme of Events 8am - Gates Open. 9am - 12pm - Race Entry - All Divisions - Scrutineering - Mod Bike, Super Street, Screamin' Eagle. 10:00am - Track Opens - Three rounds of qualifying all divisions 12pm - Entry/Scrutineering Closes 6:35pm - Track Closes 7:00pm - Compulsory Drivers' Briefing at the Start Line 6pm - Bar Opens & Food Available at Track 10pm - Bar Closes Qualifying Schedule Friday and Saturday - will be posted on the Internet and available at entry booth on the day. Each division can only qualify during the respective allotted qualifying session time. Any racers in Top Alcohol or Top Doorslammer who fail to qualify within their field will be seeded in the Supercharged Outlaws division. SUNDAY 21st March 2010 Programme of Events - will be posted on the Internet and available at entry booth. 8.00 - 9.00am Race Entry/Scrutineering, Mod Bike, Super Street, Screamin' Eagle. 9.30am Track Opens/Racing Starts 5pm approx Racing completed. 5.30pm Prize giving/Bar opens at Track - Prize giving will take place 45 minutes after end of racing |
