| NEW SEASON LICENCE AND FEE CHANGES |

At the NZDRA AGM licences where discussed and with consultation with the attending drivers representitives and the Super Street rule submission the following levels of licence and the associated fees will be valid from 1st August 2010. Changes being; Introduction of a Group One licence 3.07 a/ Group One licence Application Runs.New Driver: Blind fold test.Burnout/ launch.Burnout/ half pass must shut off at designated point. (Must be aggressive half pass).Followed by 2 full, hard, observed passes completed to the satisfaction of the Area Steward or designated Official both within 1 sec of record. Note: Sign off from a currant licence holder in Group One is required for T/A & T/D applicants. Upgrade from Unlimited Drag Licence: If required -1 full passes within 1 sec of record.New car- as above.
Lowering the Sportsman E.T licence from 12.00 to 11.00 before Limited licence is required.
Junior Dragster parents will be required to be a Associate member of the Association (or current licence holder).
New fees effective from 1st August 2010
Group One Licence $350
Unlimited Licence $250 Limited Licence $170 Sportsman Licence $100 Junior Licence $50
GST is inclusive.
A fair proportion of the increase will primarily be used to increase safety and training of officials to ensure we remain the safest motorsport.
