The date is fast approaching and the racers a enthusiastic about running on what could possibly be the best surface the sport has available to run on. It may not have the concrete barriers or the years of rubber build up but it is flat, wide and long, and with a little prep we are expecting some good times.

With interest from many top teams - some not been on track this season, this could possibly be the best turnout of racers at any track this year.

The support of the racers toward the NZDRA championship events will ensure they have something to strive for into the future.

With the prospect of new venues being built and tracks such as Tokoroa being better utilised, the racers can be assured the NZDRA is here to stay with a commitment to improve all aspects of the sport.
