There is no doubt the Century Batteries Power Series events bring the big name racers to town and on track action is assured particularly when racing on tracks that are multi use and not conducive to great traction. One of these big name racers currently in the headlines is Anthony Marsh and their 5.4 second dragster, with a good lead in the Century Batteries Championship, to not compete at the NZDRA Central Nationals would basically hand the Championship back to their Castrol Edge Top Alcohol rivals. Although the Marsh motorsport machine has the performance on paper from the Meremere track the Masterton Motorplex track would in fact favour the blown type Dragsters of Shane Lodge and the Digga Dragster of John Neilan.
